Best for medium to large breeds (Border Collies, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Huskies). Small dogs and cats can use it as tug, but the wearable mode fits a Corgi-sized head as the smallest comfortable wearer. Toy breeds get overwhelmed by the bulk.

When this isn't the right toy

Power-chewers will find the seams. Multi-layer stitching is tougher than bargain plush, but it's still fabric — a determined adult Lab/Pit mix shreds this in days, not weeks. For destroyers, switch to rubber.

Care

Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent. Skip machine and dryer — heat warps the squeaker reed and pills the long pile. Air dry flat; a wet 650 g plush takes 24+ hours, squeeze water out before laying down. Crackle paper and squeaker survive single washes but degrade over many; if the squeaker dies, crinkle and tug still work.
