Checkerboard Shell Pet Bed for Cats & Small Dogs

Some pets settle with their nose against a soft edge and their back tucked under a blanket. This checkerboard shell pet bed gives that curled-up position a place of its own. A padded oval base holds the sleeping space, while an attached soft cover rests over the rear and sides. The front stays open, so cats and small dogs can look out without leaving the bed.

Long-pile lining runs through the interior and around the opening. Choose Blue-Green with grey lining, Green with green lining, or Pink with pink lining; each color comes in three outside diameters.

A warm, tucked-in place to rest

The half-covered shell and two soft layers create a warm, sheltered resting space. The cover is soft rather than a rigid arch, and the long-pile lining gives a curled-up pet a soft surface along the base, rim and underside of the lid. The low, broad front opening leaves the face and paws visible while the body rests farther inside. Place it in a quiet indoor spot where your pet already chooses to nap, and give them room to approach the opening.

Sizing — measure first

Measure your pet curled up, including the space they use around their head and paws. Listed diameters describe the outside of the bed.

• S: 40 cm / 15.7 in outside diameter; suggested for pets up to 1.5 kg / 3.3 lb.
• M: 50 cm / 19.7 in outside diameter; suggested for pets up to 3 kg / 6.6 lb.
• L: 60 cm / 23.6 in outside diameter; suggested for pets up to 7.5 kg / 16.5 lb.

The padded rim reduces the usable sleeping space, so use your pet's curled-up measurements as well as the weight guide.

When this isn't the right bed

Choose a more open surface if your pet usually sleeps stretched out or avoids covers. Care

Remove loose hair from the lining regularly. For small marks, gently wipe the fabric with a damp cloth and let it dry fully before use. Check the supplied care label before washing the whole bed, and keep the long pile free of trapped debris.
