Horizontal Crossbody Dog Carrier — Leash & 4 Carry Modes

Most "small dog carriers" do one thing — sling, backpack, or tote. This one is built around the dog wearing the carrier itself as a soft harness, then giving you four ways to carry or walk them while it's on. The dog steps in through the round leg openings, you fasten the buckle across their back, and the carrier is now a walking vest with a leash ring, a handle to lift them up, and a strap that converts to one-shoulder or crossbody when they tire.

The shell is 600D waterproof Oxford with a sandwich-brushed inner liner — heavier than a fashion sling, sized for actual outdoor use rather than a quick cafe trip. Hardware is alloy hooks and an ABS buckle, and the included 1.5 m leash clips into the integrated D-ring.

Four carrying modes — same carrier

The dog stays in the carrier the whole time; you switch between modes based on the situation:

• Leash walk: with the carrier on like a vest, clip the leash to the integrated ring and let your dog walk normally — useful for stop/rest transitions
• Hand carry: grab the padded top handle to lift over curbs, escalators, or short stairs
• One-shoulder: sling the strap over one shoulder for errands and short walks
• Crossbody: wear the strap diagonally for longer outings — distributes weight across both shoulders and frees both hands

Sizing - measure first

Measure chest girth at the widest point behind the front legs, neck girth, and front-leg spacing before choosing a size.

• S: 2-4 kg / 4.4-8.8 lb.
• M: 4-6.5 kg / 8.8-14.3 lb.
• L: 6.5-9 kg / 14.3-19.8 lb.
• XL: 9-11.5 kg / 19.8-25.4 lb.

If your dog is between sizes, go up. Too tight can pinch the armpits; too loose lets the dog slide forward and rotate out of the leg openings.

When this isn't the right carrier

Skip this if your dog can't tolerate stepping into a vest-style harness — some dogs panic at the leg-opening fit; a cotton sling carrier is fully open at the top and easier to lift them into. Care

Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap for daily marks; the Oxford shell resists most outdoor stains and light rain. For full washing, hand wash with cool water and air dry — avoid the machine and dryer, since high heat distorts the ABS buckle and weakens the alloy hook plating over time.
