Front carry or back carry — same backpack

The shoulder straps are symmetric and fully adjustable, so the same carrier works as a front carrier (your pet faces out, you can see and pet them while walking) or as a backpack (your pet faces back, freeing your hands for shopping bags or scooter handles). Switching modes takes about 10 seconds — loosen both straps, swing the carrier around, retighten. The yellow front panel and pocket stay oriented to whichever side faces forward.

Sizing - measure first

Measure your pet's back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while they are standing naturally.

• S: 0.5-2 kg; under 26 cm back length.
• M: 2-3 kg; 26-28 cm back length.
• L: 3-4 kg; 28-31 cm back length.
• XL: 4-5 kg; 31-35 cm back length.
• XXL: 5-7 kg; 35-40 cm back length.

Too small forces the legs into an uncomfortable spread; too large lets the pet slump down inside the bag.

When this isn't the right carrier

Skip this if your dog can't tolerate having their legs hang free — some dogs need a fully enclosed pouch like a cotton sling carrier instead. Skip this for airline travel, since legs-out carriers don't qualify as airline-approved. And skip this for dogs over about 7 kg / 15 lb — the cotton linen body and shoulder straps are sized for small breeds; for larger dogs use a 3-in-1 carrier with spine support rated for heavier weight.

Care

Spot clean with cool water and mild soap for daily marks. For deeper cleaning, hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and air dry — cotton linen will soften over time but holds its shape if you skip the dryer. High heat can shrink the fabric and warp the buckle.
