gingham-console-dog-car-seat
Gingham Console Dog Car Seat with Cushion

A small dog settles into the middle of the car, then rests its chin on the nearest soft edge. This console dog car seat gives that spot a defined shape: tall gingham-lined sides, a removable cushion and a padded front rest. The narrow footprint sits over a compatible center console, while the open top lets your dog look around or curl down inside. Black, Beige and Gray change the outside color; the black-and-white checked lining stays the same.

The useful details are straightforward: adjustable straps, metal clips and a side pocket for small essentials. The carry handles also make the empty seat easier to move between the car and home.

What's included

One console pet seat in your chosen color.

Removable gingham cushion insert with a padded front rest.

Adjustable mounting straps and attached carry handles.

A padded front edge and two mounting straps

The front cushion gives a resting dog a softer edge beneath its chin. Two adjustable straps loop around the front headrests and clip onto the seat's D-rings to help reduce movement. Underneath, fastening straps allow different arrangements for single-lid and split-lid consoles. Check your console's shape and lid design before choosing a mounting direction; the strap arrangement needs to suit the car.

Materials and construction

Outer: Oxford fabric with black edge binding.

Inside: Black-and-white gingham lining and removable padded insert.

Details: Woven webbing, adjustment sliders, metal snap hooks and D-rings.

Storage: An exterior side pocket.

Sizing — measure first

Measure your dog's body from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, then check the console's length, width and lid clearance.

One size: Approx. 42 × 22 × 22 cm / 16.5 × 8.7 × 8.7 in, measured externally.

Pet fit: Body length up to 30 cm / 11.8 in and weight up to 5 kg / 11 lb.

The padded interior leaves less room than the outer dimensions suggest; use both body length and weight when checking fit.

When this isn't the right seat

Skip this style if your dog needs more width to lie down, or if the console cannot support the seat without blocking controls or preventing the lid from closing.
